चिंता व तनाव हमारे शरीर व मन पर किस तरह अपना प्रभाव डालते हैं और इनसे निपटने का क्या उपाय है, इस संदर्भ में एक बड़ा ही मनोरंजक प्रसंग है -एक मनोवैज्ञानिक छात्रों को तनाव से निपटने का उपाय बताने के लिए एक प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे। इसके लिए जब उन्होंने पानी का एक गिलास उठाया तो सभी छात्रों ने यह सोचा कि वे उनसे या पूछेंगे कि गिलास आधा-खाली या आधा भरा हुआ, लेकिन उन्होंने छात्रों से इसकी जगह दूसरा प्रश्न पूछा, उन्होंने पूछा- ''पानी से भरा हुआ जो गिलास मैंने पकड़ा है, वह आपके अनुसार कितना भारी है?''
