वर्तमान स्थिति इतनी संवेदनशील है कि भाषा के प्रश्न को गैरराजनीतिक ढंग से सोचना ही संभव नहीं प्रतीत होता है। हिंदी हमारी संस्कृति में रची-बसी है, रंगों-रंगो में घुली-मिली हुई है। यह एक विशाल समाज की भाषा है। बहुसंख्यक नागरिकों से संपर्क के लिए हिंदी अनिवार्य है। इसीलिए अपने देश में एक स्विस बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनी हिंदी सिखाने का व्यवसाय कर रही है। इसके अतिरिक्त अमेरिका सहित यूरोप के कई देश हिंदी भाषा सीखने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं। यही कारण है कि टीवी पर विदेशी चैनल भी हिंदी भाषा का प्रयोग कर रहे हैं। आखिरकार उन्हें अपने उत्पाद के तकनीकी महत्व, जरूरी सूचनाएँ, उत्पादों का विज्ञापन हिंदी भाषी लोगों के बीच में ही करना है। यह हिंदी भाषा की महत्ता को रेखांकित करता है।
