मन की स्वच्छता 
शब्दों से दिल टूटते हैं और जुड़ते भी हैं शब्दों में बहुत बड़ी शक्ति छिपी हुई है। ज्ञानी भगवतों ने शब्द को दण्ड भी कहा और पुण्य करंडक भी कहा अर्थात् हिंसा और पाप का हेतु भी वचन और पुण्य का पिटारा भी वचन है। मनरूपी टंकी में जो कुछ भी है, वही वाणी को टोंटी के माध्यम से बाहर आता है। मन की स्वच्छता, सरलता वाणी द्वारा ज्ञात होती है। इसी प्रकार मन की कुटिलता भी ज्ञात होती है। शब्दों ने अच्छे-बुरे इतिहास बनाये हैं। शब्द-शब्द में आंतरो, कोई हीरे कोई कंकरों- इस लोकोक्ति के माध्यम से स्पष्ट होता है कि कंकर सोने की अंगूठी में कभी नहीं जकड़ा जाता, वह सौभाग्य तो हीरे को ही प्राप्त होता है।
